Shirley is Kadizzle's hero in a roundabout fashion. One thing you have to give her credit for is she is brave. Secondly, Shirley clearly understands the concept of free open discussion. This is the note she sent to the thugs.
"On a personal note you will be happy to hear I have finally given in and told Mike Quinn he may no longer attend any of our meetings. We are changing our literature to read: We invite only fiscally, socially, and Constitutional America first conservatives to join us. It is really sad that after 13 years we have been forced to limit who can attend our meetings. So, now all those who have threatened to leave the Payson Tea Party if I allow him to come can stop all the gossip and quit criticizing me every time you see me. Thank you Shirley"
Shirley hit the nail on the head " It is really sad that after 13 years we have been forced to limit who can attend our meetings". Now put this in your pipe and smoke it. Shirley told Kadizzle he could come to the meetings if he was not disruptive. Kadizzle obeyed this rule to the letter. Kadizzle never said anything in any of the meetings. Now, for the real kicker. What got the Hoopleheads undies in a knot was this blog. Poor old Frank, and Jeff B. were very embarrassed about this blog.
Think about the implications. If you want to attend a Tea Party Meeting the oath of loyalty is pretty hard core. Not only must you swally the tea, but you cannot speak ill of anyone or anything that goes on outside the Tea Party. No dictator, communist, or cult leader ever had a more iron clad closure of reality.
The most amazing lesson in this is how the Payson Tea Party turned on Shirley. A woman who had a sense of right and wrong, and morality was attacked and harassed by the hard core Hoopleheads that wanted no part of fairness. What a lesson in how cults work.
Can cults operate in secret? Look at Trump's cult, someone always spills the beans. The Supreme Court had a leak. The Tea Party will have leakers, be assured. Why do they have to operate in secret to begin with? When you are doing evil, disgusting things, or just plain lying it is best to keep it secret.
One message is very clear with the Payson Tea Party, there will be no dissent. If Kari Lake shows up to lie to the Tea Party no one will challenge her. Remember when Trump suggested to his audience they throw out the news media? Well that is the Tea Party modus operandi, don't let people know how crazy we are. It all ultimately blows up. Decent people catch on to the game. Ironically the decent person in this case is Shirley.
Think about this, who will administer the purity test? Clearly the local editor will be excluded from the meetings. He sinned grievously against the Tea Party. There are other heretics attending the meeting who have not be expunged. The whole thing will end up like a good old witch burning. Who decides who is a witch. Remember how they used to dunk women in water. The Hoopleheads would do well to read about "ducking stools". Women suspected of being witches, or just too troublesome were tied to a stool and dipped in cold water. Shirley wear something warm to the next meeting, maybe a raincoat would work.
Maybe the Tea Party cult has not thought this gambit through. Excluding people may blow up in their face. What if the Tea Party invites an elected official to come blow smoke up their rectum? Now, the meeting has become a public meeting. The public is entitled to know what elected officials say. Most states have open meeting laws that keep cults from excluding people when elected officials speak. How will the Tea Party have Wendy Rodgers come and tell lies in private? Isn't the public allowed to know what Wendy Rodgers tells the cult. This could go two ways. First, the cult might decide not to have any elected officials come speak. What fun would that be? Second, the cult might have Wendy Rodgers speak and exclude normal people. Then what? It seems like it might result in a law suite.
How is all this going to work when people running for office want to address the Tea Party? Will the sign at the door say " If you don't agree with the person speaking today, do not enter". Of course all this will help the thug business. Frank and Jeff B. might want uniforms with the Payson Tea Party symbol on it. Kadizzle suggest the three monkey symbol. Hear no evil, speak no evil, see no evil. The Nazis had the Brown Shirts (Read about them). That model might work well for the Tea Party.
