It has been a long time since a good old fashioned snow has fallen, but here it is. Snow never last long here, but this one might make a little time. What do you do when you are trapped by snow? No bike riding. Got to get outside somehow.
The catchment basin in the backyard is full and was running good yesterday. A lot of moisture has dropped from the sky either as rain or snow.
Earth's population is now in the billions. So many of us don't have a clue how fortunate we are. On a percentage basis we live very near the top. We complain a lot, but have no right to when we see how so many suffer, and live.
Always there is a Trump or a Putin making things worse. The fantasy of religion just adds to the fire. Religion always pits one group against another. Why pretend otherwise?
Politics has become religion. No longer based on reality, or the truth the Republicans have developed a cult, a personality cult.
As the Earth spins into 2023 we will live on a planet we are doing our best to destroy. There is plenty of everything from minerals, to sunshine, to water, to you name it. The math says there is enough for everyone, but no, no we have to squander the food, pollute the oceans, and fill the air with toxic gas. Indeed we are strange.
