Getting ready for Heaven

Observing people one might notice them divided into two groups, those improving life on Earth, and those wasting time getting ready for the afterlife. Everyday the Jehovah's Witnesses are down at the park preparing for the afterlife. Meanwhile they will not go vote to improve this life. If they voted we would not have the Trump gang.

Then you have the incredible waste that goes into churches. Bricks, electricity, and untold resources that could be used for home, schools, and necessities here on Earth are wasted to get a ticket to heaven. Even God himself must scratch his testicles and wonder how did the Earthlings get it so wrong. As millions suffer in poverty the church people pour billions into church infrastructure. Should we buy a new cross or feed some starving kids? Wow, lets get some chimes for the church and re carpet the entryway.

Heaven would be right here on Earth if church people would become logical. Ain't goin happen. It is too much fun making an insurance policy for yourself with the church routine.  One big problem with churches become logical is they would have to share. Not in the cards. No Baptist really want to help Catholics, or any other people not on the same bus to heaven. The absurdity of it all seems so evident, but they just cannot see it.

Then you have the praise problem. God wants to be glorified. What? God has a weak ego and every Sunday you have to beg him and tell him how great he is?  What in the hell goes through the brain of these people.

This gets to prayer again. Why do you have to ask God to do what he should do anyway?  Why ask God to save the little kid starving? God should be able to do it without being asked. Religion requires one to have a lobotomy. Remove that part of the brain that creates logical thinking. Every church wants to eliminate suffering. The way to do it is build a bigger parking lot and cathedral.
