Yesterday Kadizzle had a long discussion with a Hoople. Afterwards it occurred to him how Hooples logic works. Around and around Kadizzle and the Hoople went about taxes, the oil reserve and so on. When Kadizzle suggested we revert to checking the actual data the same thing happened that always happens with a Hoople discussion. The Hooplehead knew he would get in a mess if the real data was checked. We were arguing about how much oil comes out of the national oil reserve. It is a knowable thing.
Once you decide to pin a Hoople down with data you can be assured of one thing, what you cite is unreliable. Of course the New York Times just makes up it's data. Then you go to government data, again it cannot be trusted. What you quickly find is the only data that can be trusted is the information from some silly source that supports the Hoopleheads belief.
Arguing with Hooples you will quickly find they never check the sources of the information the live by. If Tucker Carlson said it, it is true. If Alex Jones mentioned it, you can count on it. The Hoopleheads never dig into what Trump, Hannity, or any of the right wing guys say, they just buy it.
If a Hoople tosses a pair of dice and they don't land the way he wants the dice are loaded.
Nothing shows the mind of a Hooplehead better than the election deniers. With absolutely no evidence they claimed Trump won. Judges whose job is to sort out the facts say Trump clearly lost, but for the Hooples that was not the right answer.
No matter what you told a Hoople, or showed a Hooplehead, they insisted on their own reality. When you argue with someone who takes the liberty of just making up things you will lose.
