Hoarders that do their collecting in their home at least do not make a mess for the public. Yesterday Kadizzle walked with a friend to an overlook where we could see most of Payson. Our eyes were filled with the nest of a slum warrior down below. The land owner had junk strewn everywhere. Others in the area also had their collections of junk. Back in Hazen, where we used to live a slum warrior moved in up the street and filled the yard with cars. What is the matter with these people, and why do towns tolerate them. Most of the time the slummers are violating ordinances, and other regulations.
Freedom, freedom, it is my freedom to carry a gun and pile trash in my yard. How does freedom work? Are you free to ruin all the air on the planet? Are you free to destroy the peace and tranquility of the neighborhood? Some people seem to take great pleasure in pushing the limit. As bad as the slum warriors are the noise warriors. Hoopleheads with trucks deliberately made loud, or the goofy motorcycle guys who think they are part of a make believe gang of idiots.
Good parents teach their children to respect other people. The slummers and noise dogs have lost or never had respect. In the old days there were manners. Simple manners are you don't throw trash out the window, and you pick up after your dog. It seems the slum warriors and the litter bugs take pleasure in messing up the world.
Disarray pleases some people, and disturbs others. Kadizzle has observed many people with mental problems that love to live in a mess. Why do they want to mimic the state of mind they are in?
Some cities don't tolerate the slum warriors. You can drive to Fountain Hills or Scottsdale and see they just don't allow slumming. Why does Payson let the slummers go wild?
Yesterday Kadizzle had a phone conversation with a relative. Somehow we talked about a European perception of our country. A young girl had visited this country and remarked about some of the nasty messes we have made in our cities. Why does a country with such riches have such run down areas. One answer is fairly simple. We have created poverty. When you give all the money to a few people with Republican tax breaks for the rich, what do you think the result will be? Poverty is created, not a natural state. Most tribal people do not live in squalor.
