As mentioned many times on this blog Hoopleheads love fantasy, and the cult mentality. One word that the Hooples love to misuse is socialism. Your average Hoople is clueless about what socialism is and why people embrace it. The cult has used the word socialism as a replacement for dictatorship, or communism. For the Hooples it works just fine, misusing the term helps cult membership.
Now if Frank, or Jeff B. or for that matter any of the Tea Party gang watched the video below it might open up their mind to a new way of thinking, but that would be very uncomfortable. So they are not going to watch. Wouldn't it be magic if the Tea Party showed the video at one of their meetings. That would be true education, much different from indoctrination. Once you have a new knowledge base you can have new discussions. Wow, imagine that.
Try talking to someone in a cult, like the Mormons. When you introduce reality they just stare at you with a blank look. The cult people have been isolated from certain realities. In the case of the Mormons they have never read the real history of the Mormon cult. All they know is the indoctrination they received. Same with the Trump cult. Only the doctrine of Fox, Trump, and Hannity have been in their world.
What is the danger of opening your mind? It can be uncomfortable. That is why people stay in their isolated sect.
