Conservatism is mental illnes

 R.C. posted a comment in which he declared conservatism is mental illness. Think about it. You have an extra large pizza. You are in a room with five hungry people. Because you are a conservative you want all the pizza.  A rational person who was not mentally ill would ponder how much pizza do I have to give those five hungry people so they do not beat the hell out of me and take all the pizza they want?

A rational person would perhaps give the hungry five half or more of the pizza and still have plenty for himself. That is not a Republican. A Republican thinks about buying a gun and eating all the pizza. 

Now think about the GDP pizza. Those five hungry guys are the bottom 20% of the income bracket in the United States. However, those five guys are getting only 2% of the GDP pizza and the conservatives want to give them less. You would have to be mentally ill to fail to understand the history of greed. In France they had a revolution and guillotined the greedy. In Russia the Czar got to greedy and his entire family bit the dust. In China it happened once more. That is the lesson from history. 

Now when 400 families have half the wealth of the United States those families want to destroy social security and deny health care to the poor. No lesson learned. As long as Frank and Jeff B. have gas in the car and an adequate television to watch Fox News no problem. However, the mentally ill driven by greed and power will not be happy until they force the poor to kill them. 

So where does mental illness come into this? If  you see the guy in front of you jump off the cliff, and you figure you can do the same thing but fly, you are mentally ill. That is conservatism. Name one time in history when the greedy succeeded forever. North Korea is about as close as you can get to a society where people starve so the fat little leader can be happy. Is that what you want, more cheeseburgers for Trump?
