He's Not one of us

Pretend like this is the introduction to the Twilight Zone with Rod Serling. 

 Imagine you are in a room with twenty people, all delusional, and good candidates for a mental asylum. Imagine they are all gathered to listen to a paranoid person, deceived by right wing lies about election fraud giving them a pep talk about how they can make the goverment even worse than Republicans have already made it. 

The deranged speaker drones on with insane right wing ideas and plots to keep sex out of our schools and make sure the goverment does not spend any money. She tells the inmates about the dangerous " Left wing radicals", and the nefarious things they are up to. 

At the end of her lecture on how to obstruct progress she asks for questions. The inmates in the asylum praise her and solicit her good grace with easy questions that help with the scary narrative she is weaving. 

The man you are sitting beside asks a difficult intelligent question. The inmates shout in unison " He is not one of us".  Suddenly you realize you are sitting beside the only other sane person in the room. 

You both head for the door leaving  Planet Tea Party behind. They are really in there, they really believe the election was once again stolen from them by the demons they call " Left wing radicals".

Now as you leave the planet Tea Party you look back and see the inmates hold their meeting in a church. Is this real? Do people who believe in Trump's lies, and all the stingy nonsense of the Republicans really hold meetings in a church?

As the crazy talk rolled from the speakers mouth and she contradicted herself enumerable times Kadizzle had strong urges to interject a rational question to the queen of lies. The man beside him who " Was not one of them" restrained Kadizzle. He explained it was hopeless. 

The Tea Party meeting reminded Kadizzle of the time he actually visited a facility for the mentally ill in West Virginia. As part of a psychology class Kadizzle took inmates from the state mental institution on a nature walk. One of the so called crazy people started to examine a fruit that grows in West Virginia called an osage orange. The fruit is inedible.  A young girl in the psychology class in a panic rushed to the mental patient and excitedly said " Don't eat that".  The mental patient replied " We are in here because we are crazy, not stupid".  

Hopefully the Tea Party people are not crazy, but they don't have an once of logic. One of the bizarre things they cannot focus on is the so called election cheating. Some of their candidates won, and they control the legislature. Obviously if the " Radical Left" cheated the Radical Left did a poor job. 

One other crazy mental trick the Hoopleheads pull on themselves is the whole issue of evidence. If they had evidence of cheating then why don't  they bring it to a judge, who would be a Republican in Arizona and prove their case?

Now another strange twist to all this election cheating insanity. At the beginning of the meeting Shirly asked how many people were pole watchers. A few raised their hands. So if there was cheating why didn't the pole watchers see it and report it? 

Confusing Fox News watchers is no great feat. 

For some strange reason Republicans are obsessed with sex. Kadizzle has attended a few Tea Party meetings. At every meeting the speaker mentions how the schools are doing some kind of mental sexual trick to the students. One speaker said the teachers were groomers. Presume this means the teachers are recruiting kids to be LGBT people. Tonight's speaker said the students were being shown explicit sexual information. Be sure to keep those kids away from farm animals. 

Tonight's speaker emphasized how important it was to keep the radical left from accomplishing anything. Kadizzle wanted to ask if it was possible for the radical left to have a good idea. Nope. Kadizzle does not have much use for Republicans, but it is possible they could have a good idea. After all a couple of them wanted to impeach Trump. 

Poor old Hershel lost his bid to be a Republican stooge. That is wonderful news, but keep in mind we are hanging on to sanity by a thing thread. If Putin had been at the Tea Party meeting tonight he would have licked his chops knowing how easy it is to sway the Hooples with a few magic phrases. Rest assured Russia plays a major role in the destruction of our country by the Republicans. The Republican are doing for free what Putin should have to pay his agents to do.
