Over the course of months Kadizzle has become acquainted with Mr. Republican. Kadizzle and Mr. Republican like to go around in circles arguing about political matters. Mr. Republican is a little different than most of the Hoopleheads, he does do some homework.
To save keystrokes Kadizzle is just going to call him MR. With a good preacher and distorted imagination you can make the Bible work. For religion to work you have to be willing to accept things that don't make sense. The job of the preacher is to help you believe the unbelievable.
Republicans would have the Hoopleheads believe the rich are oppressed by the poor. The poor are living off the backs of the rich. MR brought old Kadizzle data to show him the rich pay way more taxes than they actually do.
Kadizzle debated with himself if he should spend the time with MR showing him how Republicans have painted a false picture. In the end it would probably be a waste of time. MR has too much invested in Republicans lies, just like the religious have a great deal invested in their delusion. With Republicans and the religious the trick is to trick the Hoopleads. Churches have always taxed their participants. Mormons are walking off with 10%. Stump preachers have made millions fooling the Hooples. Republican policy is just a political religion.
There is an old saying " follow the money". Who has the money? In Las Vegas the casino has the money. Of course they tell you that you can win, but all the evidence is you are going to lose. Republicans tell you it is the welfare cheat that is taking your money, but who has the money? Sure as hell it is not the welfare cheat.
The suffering rich. Asking billionaires or any of those who are filthy rich to pay taxes is an intrusion on their right to steal. A simple question might be how are the rich suffering from paying too much tax? MR keeps providing data about what percentage of taxes the rich pay. No matter how much tax you paid if you end up with half of everything the system seems to be working for you. What is it the 1% want, that they don't have? A bigger yacht, more houses, an island? Exactly what are the rich being deprives of MR?
When you tell a Hoople the richest 400 families own half of the country the information shoots in one ear and out the other.
How do you get rich? If you have one lawnmower and you push it all day, you will not get rich. On the other hand if you have 25 lawnmowers and 25 people to push them, you are on your way. You pay the 25 people $10 an hour and charge the homeowner $15 an hour. So now you are making $125 an hour. One of the guys pushing the lawnmower is going to come up to you and say " how come you get so much more than us?". This is where the fiction begins. First you say " because I own the lawnmowers". Second you tell Willy, " You would not even have a job if had not been for me letting you push the mower, now get to work,". The fiction just builds from there. Republicans will bend and twist this scenario until you feel sorry for the billionaires.
The greatest trick in tax illusions is getting the Hooples to believe next week they will be rich. Kadizzle had a conversation with the owner of a small business who was doing ok, but not rich. We got into the tax discussion. The fellow admitted the tax structure favored the rich, but was sure soon he would be rich so it was OK. The idiots playing the lottery all think. Sure I am getting screwed today, but next week when I get my billion I sure as hell don't want to be taxed. It works. Jesus walked on water, and the rich are paying their share of taxes. Ya sure, ya bettcha.
One thing Kadizzle would like to point out to MR is about the definition of a welfare cheat. If you ask a Hoople what a welfare cheat is they will tell you it is a person who gets a check for money they did not earn. Now have some fun with your favorite Hoople. Ask the Hoople what is the difference between a trust baby, and a welfare cheat. They both get money they never worked for. Both are technically welfare cheats. The only difference is the Trust baby gets a huge check and the welfare cheat gets a meager check. Although neither the welfare cheat or the trust baby ever worked they both are put in different social classes. The welfare cheat is scum, and the son of daddy rich guy is a wonderful boy. The Hoople will explain to you how this is all gods will, but the Hoople will not realize the rich guy created generations of welfare cheats. Rich people who did nothing but inherit money. One unique thing about Hooples is they have no concept of history. Kadizzle has a friend in North Dakota with money. Where did it come from? If you trace it backwards it came from a plantation north of New Orleans. If you trace back where the major fortunes in the U.S. came from you will always find it was abused coal miners, steel workers, share croppers and so on. Now MR will tell you the rich are being abused. MR somehow forgot about all the people abused so the rich could be rich.
