Movie review

Another two post day. The Kadizzles went to the movies for the first time in many years with new friends in Payson. The movie was Amsterdam. It seemed like a different version of a Netflex series we liked called Babylon Berlin. Both movies delt with the time period between World War one and World War two. 

If you have time Babylon Berlin is the better of the two, but Amsterdam is a good quick review. In both movies the rich were plotting to support Mussolini or a Hitler like government. There is a lot of history wrapped up in both presentations. 

The striking thing about both films is the parallel with current history. It is the same old story, a bunch of rich people feel a dictatorship of the wealthy is the best form of government. Of course the Republicans are trying the same tactics today. 

A key to getting a good Hitler like country going is to convince the poor some minority is the problem. An absolute favorite of the Republicans today are the people at the border. Of course Republicans all play on the underlying racism that is a hallmark of their thinking. At the last Tea Party meeting the new name for black people, homosexuals, Mexicans, and liberals is " THEY".  Kari Lake, Eli Crane, and Wendy Rodgers just have to say THEY and all the racist in the audience know who is being targeted. Of course Trump, and the wealthy love the scheme. As long as THEY are the target, no one will notice the real thieves. The real thieves are the 400 families that now own half the country. Some day the Hoopleheads may wake up to what is going on, but it will involve studying history. Destroying history in the schools is an important part of the Tea Party, and Republican agenda. If the simple minded could watch and understand either of the movies mentioned earlier they would see they are being played. That ain't gonna happen. Deep thought is painful and why learn history when you can watch NASCAR?

If Hitler had a little brother his name would Donald Trump. Trump has used everything in the Hitler playbook to perfection. Blatant lying is Trumps specialty. Using the sediment on the bottom is also a technique Trump adopted from Hitler. 

One thing you see in any portrayal of the time leading up to the disaster in Germany are the brown shirts, or the SS, or the Gestapo. Always in a group of dingers there are some like Frank who want to play the role of enforcers. Trump has the Proud Boys, Hitler had the Brown Shirts. In the movie Amsterdam they featured the American Nazis who actually were active and supported people like Charles Lindberg. Frank, read about Lindberg and learn something. At any rate when  you have one coward, you have one coward, but when you get four cowards together now you have brave cowards. That is how lynching's worked. A crowd of stupid people that can be manipulated by someone like Trump is our greatest threat. Our country came withing inches of a dictatorship on Jan 6th. Only moral honest people with integrity saved us from Trump. If Trump does not go on trial the next round the Hooples will wind. Think about what the Hooples have set up. No matter who wins the Hooplehead will say they won. They have put in place the propaganda. If they lose the election was rigged, if they win it was fair. At the Tea Party they are recruiting people to watch the election. That is scary, if a bunch of people who think Trump won are going to monitor the election in Arizona, just think about it. Once you digest that think about Wendy Rodgers showing up in Payson, and instructing the Hoopleheads how to cheat. We got a problem Houston.
