Homeless in a land of empty homes

The Payson Roundup had a big article about homeless people. In Williston, North Dakota hundreds of man camp housing units sit empty. In Sun Valley, Idaho hundreds of second homes each worth millions sit empty most of the year. All over the country there are livable spaces empty. Across the sea cruise ships meant to last 15 years are being scraped. The ships were taken out of service early because of covid.  

There is no housing shortage. There is a greed disaster. The problem is distribution. Republicans have distributed excess housing to the Trump driven rich of the world. Republicans don't see any real need to provide the worthless lazy  poor with shelter. Realistically there is no food shortage, or any shortage for that matter. Americans feed enough food to dogs to feed the world. On it goes. The economic system is designed to enslave the poor and enrich the rich. 

The plantation never went away, it was merely refined. The slaves starved while the plantation owner got fat. Nothing has changed as the Russians hide their yachts. In India, and China people struggle to live producing stuffed animals from the rags sent to them from America. Seems wonderful. Americans throw away perfectly usable items by the truck load. 

Sit by route 40 that crosses America from coast to coast. Beside the highway is a train track. You can see a hundred car train of crap every fifteen minutes, and on the highway the trucks are in a line. Where does all that Chinesiem end up? In the dump. Our dumps are swollen with ship loads of needless, senseless crap. Halloween is upon us, and stores are filled with Halloween crap, and soon Christmas crap. The kid in India can barely eat, and the kid in America is fat on candy. What is wrong with the world. Legitimized greed sparked by capitalism is the problem, don't dare mention it. Greed is the new religion. I got mine, and Trump will help me keep it. The immigrants at the border are after my SUV, and TV. Only a wall can stop them. We are special, we are entitled. God loves America and gives us all the stuff the heathens produce. All we have to do is go to church pray for Trump and die from overconsumption. Amen.
