A new chapter

Today the Earth Module comes out of it's summer long rest and heads to the lake. It will be life on a different planet. Dropping down about three thousand feet makes everything change. From mountain forest to high desert is a switch. Three days a week the Kadizzles will be doing their volunteer work clearing the trails. 

Snowbirds will migrate back to Arizona, our trail crew will assemble and all will be right in the world if we don't turn on the news. 

Rita and Ken bought ebikes so we may be able to take group ebike adventures. Having our mountain home 60 miles away will be a bonus. 

The Javelinas attacked the neighbors garbage can and made a big mess. Since they were not here the Kadizzles had to clean it up. So far it looks like a nice day. The monsoons did bring plenty of rain. Perhaps there will be little fire danger. 

The Kadizzles have met so many new people since moving to Payson. Very few people in Payson grew up here. Just about everyone moved here to retire. Our friends building a nice home near us gave us a wonderful meal last night. There is very little flat ground in Payson and a lot of homes are jammed on hillsides. All the rock presents other problems. On the East side of town huge boulders the size of house are scattered about. Building is difficult because the rock is so shallow. A major problem for so many homeowners are driveways. Steep driveways are abundant. The good news is how many people like the area. It will be interesting to see if the housing boom slows down. 

Very soon we will have new neighbors on both sides. We have met them and they seem like nice people. The big danger here for the Kadizzles are Republicans. Naturally we will have Republican friends, but most of the people with money are Democrats or moderate Republicans. Most of the hard core Trump cult people are not in the same crowd we find friends. 

The upcoming election will be like the nation taking an IQ test. Things are not looking good. Dealing directly with the Hooples yesterday was a lesson in how much the Hooples enjoy being in a daze. Trump is the new Christ for the Hoopleheads, he can do no wrong and is without sin.
