Small Town Satisfaction

Today was cleanup day at the pocket park. Years ago I undertook the construction project of building a little park on an empty lot on main street. When people get together and work together as volunteers, it give me hope for humanity. I was really happy when two younger guys showed up to work with the geezers. We got the job done, had a nice lunch together, and for this serious doubter it makes me think of the good side of the universe.
