Up in the Morning

The new screen door has been installed in the bedroom and Winky is delighted. Sleeping in cool evening air is a delight. Had a nice conversation with Honest Omar yesterday. We are all getting old and that 80 number is right around the corner. Kadizzle knows he is old because his snoochel is going to be 14 tomorrow. Sylvie is now taller than her mother. 

Life goes on. Getting old means slowly crumbling. Along with crumbling comes pains.  Winky has hip pain, and Kadizzle is suffering pain from the motorcycle crash along with some new pains down the legs.  What fun crumbling is. 

 We attended two social events yesterday. In the morning the Kadizzles went to the Tonto Natural Bridge for breakfast. The setting would be hard to beat. The spectacular mountain was the backdrop. In the afternoon we went to the Quitip Concert. Well that is not really the name of it, but there were a lot of older women with white hair there. It was fun to see the young high school kids who won scholarships perform. The choir itself was older people. 

The word old has taken on new meaning. Kadizzle does not realize he is old. Kadizzle always thought as you got older inevitably you got smarter. Nope, just go to the Tea Party meeting and you will see that getting old often means getting more deluded. You know those magic pills they now sell to improve brain power? Well now Fox is the magic pill that destroys the ability to think. Yes, you can get high and drunk on lies. Tucker Carlson made millions lying to the Hooples. 

Hooples are so much like children, they love being scared, and a good story will make them scream with joy. The Hooples are not intellectual, but they are emotional. The Hooples watched too many westerns and believe a gun can solve any problem. The macho man is the hero of the Hooples. Give the Hooples a lying man with a gun, and they fall in love. Trump is the head of the Hoople cult. Trump figured out the Hooples love a good story with a great lie. Trump's latest story with no basis in reality is that South American countries are releasing mental patients into the United States. It could be true there is a guy here from Brazil in the Republican party that seems to be a mental patient.
