Puzzled

Sitting here in this cozy bnb.  Early in the morning.  Time change has it,s effects.  The goal is to go to the North End of the island, but need to find lodging there.  Been up since three trying to find a place. There is a place that looks nice, but cannot get in until Wed.  Another quest is to get a flight to south island.  Everyone says that is a must see.  So may just stay here another day if Kadizzle can and get organized.  Lot of fun being the Yank with the two Brits here.  Even by American standards Kadizzle lacks manners, but the two Brits have made fun of my lack of cultural awareness here.  The waitresses here do not wait on you like the U.S.  It is sort of a get it yourself deal.  John was dismayed when Kadizzle asked the waiter to bring a napkin yesterday.  John said they don't do that you have to get up and get one.  Another strange thing here is no ice in the water.  Warm water does not seem to bother people  here. Kadizzle likes ice water, but the people here think it is strange.

Hard to get used to the concept of Christmas in summer.  They don't seem to go nuts here with decoration, but it makes you think twice when you see a decorated tree and it has never snowed here.

Julie is the host, and John is the British guy staying here.  Both have wonderful personalities and we get along so well.  Like Kadizzle they love music and constantly Julie belts out a song.  We sat around sharing songs yesterday.

So today is a puzzle.  The best bet seems to be to take a day and so some planning.  Julie and John are still sleeping so here Kadizzle sits alone with a cup of coffee.

May go back to the town harbor today.  The money tied up in expensive boats would cure all the poverty in the world.  At this town harbor a boat under a million dollars is unheard of.  The size of these boats is just amazing. Huge monohulls, and catamarans.  If Kadizzle was a younger guy he would weasel his way onto a crew job.  These boats will all be going to exotic places.  Income inequality in the world is totally out of control.  Most people struggle while a small group pisses away money.  The real tragedy are the rich that have boats, houses, and so much that rarely gets used.
