CAVE men as Jeff calls them. Citizens, Against, Virtually, Everything. The Payson Cavemen are against sunshine, rain, fresh air, and swimming pools. If Democrats or progressives are for something the Cavemen are against it. One thing the cavemen are against in any shape or form is taxes. Everything should be free the cavemen feel. The cavemen come to every town council meeting and object. The cavemen grind out conspiracy theories with a diesel generator.
Payson is a small mountain town that is growing because it is cooler than nearby Phoenix. Progressive, intelligent, normal people want to plan for the future and go forward, not the cavemen. The cavemen want to ride horses, wear guns, wave Trump flags and go backwards.
Gary Morris is the leader of the Cavemen. Gary explains to the Hooples what the latest lie is. The Hooples get their information from Fox News, and some mysterious radio station, like KMOG. Recently the Hooples brought in the big gun liars. The liars are stuck on the election Trump won. The big local liars are Eli Crane, Kari Lake, and they even brought a national liar in to gin up nonsense. How fast can you march backwards. Every week there is the mini Hooplefest at the Tea Party were some half baked nonsense is spread.
Slowing down progress is the main goal of the Hooples even though they would actually like to go backwards. So everyday in Payson it is the normal people versus the Hooples.
