Mother of all rides

Up, up and up Kadizzle went to the top of a new set of mountains.  Kadizzle rode the Yamaha about 70 miles yesterday.  A good forty of those miles were through the mountains.  The size of the wilderness here just keeps getting bigger.  For years we have explored the Tonto National Forest, but always every new road proves the forest to be bigger than thought.  Kadizzle had a wonderful ride along a forested road for mile after mile.  The fear began to crop in his head that he would run out of gas.  This would be a hell of a mess way, way back in nowhere.  The gas held up well, but there was one strange problem.  Somehow a piece of granite got into the chain and just about tore the chain from the rear sprocket.  After some tinkering Kadizzle got the rock out, but had to retension the chain.

The trip turned out to be huge loop that encompassed about seventy miles.  There were so many side roads that need to be explored.
