A proud Grandpa

Sylvie, Grandpa's prize ten year granddaughter was accepted to the Denver School for the Arts yesterday.  Her parents rigged up a surprize announcement for her which Grandpa engineered.  They printed out the notice an put it in an envelope addressed to Sylvie.  When Sylvie came home from school they handed it to her nonchalantly.  Secretly they videoed Sylvie opening it.  When Sylvie figured it out she exploded with joy, screamed, and jumped into her mother's arms.  Getting into the school was far more difficult than applying for college.  Sylvie had to go through two intense tryouts, and submit her own resume.

Sylvie loves acting.  Grandpa used to play the role of a customer in the basement.  Sylvie was either operating a hair style shop or a restaurant.  Grandpa had to be the customer.  When we were doing the hair shop routine.  Sylvie would keep sending Grandpa to a different hair shop where she appeared as a different character.  One hair shop was the Wow shop.  In the other shop the lady had a strong British accent.

Sylvie's career took off when she starred as Mary Poppins.
