Last evening Bob and Mary invited us over for a round of Wizard. Bob loves the card game and usually wins. In our new home we are blessed with good neighbors. Not everyone is on the same political pagek, but we make it work. BSing with Greg in his garage is great, and Greg walks Rita the dog by every day for another round of stories and lies. We have a professional artist, and a good amature artist. Just about everyone is old, but we do have a couple of younger couples. A lot of dog walking goes on, and each dog has it's own personality.
Good neighbors are a blessing. Everyone is getting their new yards up to par, and some of the women are taking landscaping serious. To the Northwest of us we are going to be bordered by three more expensive larger homes with more acreage. That is working out well. It gives us some breathing room, improves the view and the people moving in are great.
Moving from Hazen to Payson was like changing clothes. In Payson we have met so many nice people. The landscape is so much more exciting. We are up against the national forest, and hiking and bike riding are just across the street. Below us is Green Valley Park, a wonderful city park with music on Saturday nights, lots of festivals, and three wonderful little lakes full of fish.
For better or worse Kadizzle is up to his bunghole in politics here. Trying to keep the Hoopleheads from destroying the town is a battle, but the tide seems to be in our favor. The Hooples are old busted flat goats that don't want to change or pay taxes. The Hooples are for nothing and against everything.
