Two of the best news sources are NPR and The New York Times. NPR often just takes stuff from the NYT. Today your job is to read the NPR article on Fox News and its lying. Kadizzle has come to be a big fan of Heather Cox Richardson. She nails it every day.
Kadizzle is kind of a news junkie, but is amazed at the fog people. Those are the people who just don't pay attention to the world around them. They drift through life like wood floating down the river. Kadizzle is amazed about what people don't know. Young people are being robbed of the future in every way. Do they have a clue what the Republicans are doing to them? No. All they know is they are struggling. How many young people are trying to survive on service jobs handing out pizza and answering the phone? It just is not going to work. Young people are paying way more for rent than us old codgers did, and they are making way less with no benefits. It is going to hit the fan. The young will never be able to afford houses. Pigeon boxes are being built for them. The income disparity in this country is insane. The wealthy have walked away with the cake.
An article in the NYT today addresses the attitude in Russia with the war going on. Putin wants people to ignore it. They are. What me worry? only works for so long. The frightening idiocy of the Republicans will only work for so long, but Americans are content just like the Russians to ignore reality.
