A great deal about nothing.

It is a cold miserable day for the southwest.  The Commander and Kadizzle are cooped up in the Earth Module staying warm with a small electric heater. Bored out of our gourd.  Kadizzle decided to listen to some music, something new by Leonard Cohen.  Kadizzle has some nifty wireless earbuds.  The occasion arose to go into the other end of the camper and Kadizzle listened to music as he went being transmitted through the air magically.  How does this work? How do things go through things?  If Kadizzle understands the science he has been exposed to the answer is strange, but simple.  There is way more nothing than something.  Radio waves have no trouble going through the camper because mostly the camper is not there.  The physics of the universe are strange, but if you took all the matter that composes the place we stay in it would more than likely be smaller than a pinhead. Seems impossible, but is probably true.  Think about it.  If you could see a molecule or an atom,  you would see something that looks like planets orbiting the sun.   Now actually think about the planets orbiting the sun.  If you go out to the farthest planet and you look at our solar system mostly what you see is nothing.  The actual planets circling the sun take up a infinitesimal  small amount of space in the who solar system.  The same is true of an electron circling an atom.  The atom is mostly space, or nothing if you please. So that simply means there is way more nothing than something in what we perceive.  Some scientist believe that in the tiniest fraction of second before the big bang everything we know of was in an area the size of a basketball.  Imagine something the size of a basketball that turned into you, me, the Earth, the sun, the universe.  The math says it happened.  As Einstein said “ The universe is not stranger than you think, it is stranger than you can think”.

So where does this leave us.  Well we are about 90% water, and the water is about 99% nothing. So in the vast scheme of things we are mostly nothing.  Keep that in mind and tell it to Donald Trump if you see him.  If you took the nothing out of Donald Trump you would be left with one tenth of one hundredth of one millionth of a speck of fly shit.  Do you really want to vote for him?
