The Kadizzle Kastle

An old saying is " A man's home is his castle".  Slowly the Kadizzle home is becoming automated.  Alexa lets us yell at her to give us the weather or an update on the news.  Kadizzle is in the process of setting up Alexa so one can ask to have the lights on or off and so on. It has been nice just to tell Alexa to turn on public radio in the morning while you just lie in bed.  Last night Kadizzle read about the steam engines on the Titanic. Kadizzle did not realize there was a steam turbine that drove one of the props on the Titanic.  Curious about when the Titanic was built,  Kadizzle asked Alexa.  1912 was the answer.  Alexa is the Amazon Echo device that voice connects you to the internet.

So what does the future hold.  Soon we will all become lumps that lay in bed and shout out orders to our toaster, our radio, and our TV.  Nothing did more to turn us into lumps than the automobile.  Of course the television was not far behind. We are evolving into vegetables. No longer will we need to move. Things will come to us. Right now the probability is Kadizzle is a potato.  So Kadizzle sits in the kitchen where his phone controls Sonos, and The Commander has Alexa at her service in the bedroom.
