Riding Cherry Creek

Impatient with the rest of the crew in Denver Kadizzle struck out on his own. The goal was to bike ride in downtown Denver.  The first plan was to take the Sandcreek trail to town, but another biker said there was no trail. Kadizzle bought his $1.30 senior pass for the train and jumped on with his bike.  At Union Station the ride started.  The bike path up Cherry creek was like an interstate of bikes, but it was a pleasant ride. Kadizzle thought he might be able to go all the way back to Stapleton by bike, but did not know the paths well enough. Turning back Kadizzle headed to Union Station to sit and sip an ice tea.

Meanwhile the rest of the crew was riding from Stapleton with Sylvie.  Somehow they found the Sandcreek trail which went through a lot of industrial areas. We all met up at Union Station and Sylvie had a great time playing in the water feature.  We all jumped back on the train with our bikes and headed home.  The train will be a very nice asset for life in Denver.  Clean, comfortable, and quick the mass transit makes going downtown a pleasant and easy experience,.
