Some neighbors came over yesterday, first we sat by a nice fire in the backyard, and then came a good meal and a card game. The neighborhood is coming together and fortunately we have a good group. There are three good Democrats and about eight conservatives. Everyone gets along. Flag flying is popular.
We have two ex law enforcement people, a neurosurgeon, a professional artist, a retired machinist, and a working HVAC designer. This doesn't include the many skilled women. The same guy landscaped all the homes so there is a theme. Most of us are old. There is one young family with three little girls, their dad is a plane mechanic.
We sit on top of a hill and sniffers come by to see the new development. One side of the street faces the Rim, and Payson. The other side abuts the National Forest. Dog walking happens several times a day. About five homes are under construction. We have met most of the people that will move into the new homes and they all seem like good people. We are fortunate.
