1914

 What was the neighborhood like in 1914? Found this picture today on the internet. The house Kadizzle grew up in is just barely visible. Grandfathers house is in the picture too. Kadizzle was not born until 1949, but it is interesting to see this early picture. Way in the background you can see a large white building on the hill that was a resort. Stratford Springs burnt down, but as kids we used to play at the original spring. The hill above the spring was a great adventure place for us growing up. 

If you enlarge this picuture you can see my grandfathers house pretty well. Look at the first row of houses, behind and to the left of the last house in the front row is my grandfathrs house it was spectacular and very nice. Our house was very close towards the Stratford Springs building.
