On the way back.

Winky hiked across the Grand Canyon with Al, and Deb.  Kadizzle stayed on the North Rim and picked them up on the South Rim on Sunday.  The hikers experience 136 degree temperature at the bottom of the canyon.  That was in the sun.  Kadizzle did a lot of ebiking.  Deb, and Al are trying to complete the Arizona Trial in segments.  The AZ goes through the Grand Canyon.  The AZ is 800 miles long from Mexico to Utah.  Kadizzle has hiked and biked about fifty miles of it.   The biking on the AZ on the North Rim is wonderful. The trail is in amazing shape for bikes, and scenery is hard to beat.  One minor problem was a flat tire, but a park ranger gave Kadizzle a ride and solved the problem.  Met some wonderful people who let us share their great site overlooking the canyon.   We camped five miles off the main road.  Hike to a fire tower where  Edward Abby wrote some of his books.  That makes two fire towers we shared with him.  Here we sit in Greenriver.  This town looks like the depression never ended here.  Will give more details tomorrow.  Hope all Kadizzlites are doing well.
