Here we go

A big battle this week, the Hooples will try their best to take the town back ten years, the normal people will try to move the town forward. The Hooples are upset that the town needs revenue. Payson is in a peculiar mess. Property owners pay property tax, but the county gets the tax not the town. Payson is starved for funds. Payson has two ultra rich golf course communities. No one has the balls to tax those guys. Then there are many people retired and doing just fine. On the other hand there are the busted flat trailer people who are scraping by. The town wants to raise the sales tax 1%.  This drives the Hooples nuts. The Hooples will go to the grocery store and blow a hole in a hundred dollar bill buying lottery tickets, or the Hooples will spend a social security check at the casino, but no way will they pay to keep the town going. Guess who the Hooples are?  Yep, the guys with the guns on their hip, and the MAGA hat on their head. The Hooples love being simple minded. The Hooples have their own radio station, and this takes the cake, the Hooples have their own free movies. Yesterday the Hooples had the combination of a liar, and a movie at the theater. Hooples love crazy conspiracy theories, and people make money lying to the Hooples. The Tea Party is like a local fantasy club. Strory time for idiots. Hopefully the normal people will prevail and the Hooples will retreat, but a cult member is someone you cannot reach. The cult is like alcoholics, a good lie, or conspiracy theory is like a shot of whiskey.
