Once Upon a Time

During his career Kadizzle worked with a lot of engineers, and many times people assumed Kadizzle was an engineer. Engineers are often confused about what would not confuse ordinary people. Details sometimes overwhelm engineers and they get blinded. Once talking on a lunch break with the guy running the mine who happened to be an engineer, Kadizzle wondered out loud how much energy he could use up to lose weight if he walked up the boom of the dragline. The boom was about 150 feet in the air. The engineer said it would take as much energy as walking on the ground 150ft. To an ordinary person that is so obviously wrong. Walking up a 45 degree angle takes way more calories than walking on level ground. Kadizzle was stunned by the poor thinking of this man.  Well, that gets us to today. Winky wants to hike up a very steep trail. Kadizzle needs the exercise, but is not inclined (no pun intended) to walk up the steep mountain grade. It is all steep. In fact it is one of the longest steep hikes around. So here we are early in the morning facing Mount Everest. Given the choice Kadizzle would far rather ride the bike.

Phase two of this morning's thoughts. Words, words mean something. Republicans have become masters at distorting the meaning of words. Their most famous perversion was the inheritance tax. They changed it to the death tax. Now the good old liars have taken the word socialism and made it into a evil thing. In the old days the key word was communism. Communism used to be the perfect scare word, but it fell out of favor when Russia fell apart. Now the word is socialism. Your typical simple minded dinger has no clue what socialism is or how it works. Add Democratic to the word socialism and the Hoopleheads are totally lost. All you need to know if you are a brain dead cult member is that socialism is evil and must be stopped. It must be stopped as the Republicans know because it could result in taxing the rich. Anyone capable of using toilet paper knows taxing the rich will create doom in the world of the Trump cult. After all no one else has agreed to trickle on the peasants, but the rich. The rich give us work polishing their cars, carrying their luggage, and cutting their grass. We should not ask them to share. There is nothing wrong with 400 families having as much wealth as the rest of the country combined. We only need 400 families to trickle on us and bring us the money to buy at Walmart and McDonnells. Not only do the rich trickle on us, but now they have made it possible for anyone with a billion dollars to take a ride into space. Few know how grateful we should be.
