Ebike Warriors

With the beast truck we drove into the mountains carrying the ebikes. After we dismounted the bikes we took off toward Aztec Peak.  Edward Abby stayed in the fire tower there and wrote some of his books. The first thing you encounter is about a 700ft waterfall. Not much water, but still spectacular. Above the fall is a very unique Indian ruin few can get to. After several miles of peddling we came to a small ranch. Although the no trespassing signs were evident Winky had to go on and the people at the ranch gave her a little chew. There are these strange pockets of private property deep in the land owned by the Forest Service. The scenery on the ride was hard to beat. It took 50% of the batter to make the climb and Kadizzle was nervous about running out of power, but did make it back with 30% left. It was a nice downhill coast on the way back. Today is starting with crystal clear skies and a nice temp. Bill our only neighbor says he is throwing in the towel. Bill plans to go to Arkansas. Bill is a lot of fun at happy hour, and with him gone it will not be the same, but some of the regular crew should show up before long to fill the gap.
