Sunny Day

If the stars are a predictor this will be a sunny day.  Cannot wait to sit in the sun and let the radiation burn out some of the cold infestation.  Winky has the cold.  Winky thinks she is getting over the cold. Kadizzle has explained this is a nasty cold.  It is like Trump, you think you might be rid of it, then it comes back worse.

A run on the ebike is in order.  Kadizzle built his own secret ebike trail to the mailbox.  The trail is a short cut through the desert.  Now some nefarious person put rocks on the trail and did some other minor destruction to the markers.  Who would do such a thing?

A lot of moisture has fallen on this area and the vegetation should pop when the sun hit it today.  Kadizzle has done a little research on the canal that was built to supply electricity to the dam here.  The canal brought water to a hydro plant and made electricity for the people building the dam.

The canal was an amazing project for 1906.  The canal is about twenty three miles long and has at least ten tunnels.  The work was done by hand with primitive equipment.  Most of the laborers were Apache.  Even today with modern equipment it would be a task.  Nothing was easy in the old days. Big pipes were made out of wood. Cement was mixed, no one seems to know how.   Once complete the canal, and the diversion dam were damaged by floods of the Salt River.  Life was not easy in those days.  Just getting people and equipment here was an unimaginable feat.  If you are interested look up The Lake Roosevelt Power Canal and Diversion Dam.
