We are going on week two with no instructions from headquarters. Our mission has been to waste days and we have just wasted another day. Not all bad. The Commander and Kadizzle just inspected a boat that sank. The boat was underwater for two weeks at the marina. Somehow they got it floating and drug it up on shore. It is a very large houseboat. Of course when the boat came on shore it sunk over the trailer axles. So the big houseboat is about fifty feet out of the water with an invisible trailer under it. Apparently the owners have abandoned it. According to the locals they had a hell of a monsoon storm here which put many boats in a bad way. The locals say winds reached 75 mph.
Otherwise we have been doing yard work and just taking a giant ease. Kadizzle went through hundreds of New Yorker Cartoons from 1930 to 1950. The cartoons were way more risque than Kadizzle might have imagined. It is interesting to see the cartoon commentary on the times.
The Commander is threatening a big hike for tomorrow. It will be a big hike for the country as the ballots are counted. Hopefully we will be able to go to bed tomorrow knowing there is not a majority of idiots in the country.
