An Ex Eskimo

Kadizzle used to be Quin the Eskimo living in North Dakota, but since assuming life in Arizona we are dedicated snowbirds. Losing track of the seasons happens when you live in perpetual summer. Friends back in North Dakota are experiencing the usual cold winds, wind chill, and ice with snow. Life in the Earth Module has been full of perfect days. It seems too lucky. Some sort of winter is bound to come. The temperatures are easing down and soon we may need some heat puffs in the morning.

The trail crew has managed to clear some of the local trails and the ebikes have been humming along. Now we have several sets of ebike buddies in the campground. Kadizzle took a couple of uncoordinated ebike newbees on the trail. Their incompetence was dangerous, and they had some low end bikes that made it worse. If you buy an ebike to go on trails get a good one. Make sure you get tubeless tires. Another important thing is full suspension. It makes a big difference. If on the other hand you want to be a sidewalk putter, a less expensive bike will do.  There are two types of motors. One type is called a hub motor, and the other is a mid drive. Kadizzle suggest the mid drive for serious bikers. The hub drive does have some advantages. Some bike have throttles, and others you must peddle to make the bike move. If you have any questions feel free to call.
