An eight hour day for old people

Jackie is now part of our trail crew. Yesterday we officially went to work. Jackie discovered that in Old hours about four hours is eight hours. All the trail crew is over 71 years old with the oldest 75.  Jackie is the only one under 70. After a hard days work we knocked off about 2:30. Jackie asked if this was a typical day. Yup, an eight hour day after you are 70 is closer to four. The trail work is not easy. We are brushing trails near camp. The worst part are the thorns. When your done it looks like your arm was in a shredder.

Was interesting seeing the reporting on the "big" rally at the capitol in Bismarck. Realistically the crowd of 3,000 was missing a zero. It was more like 300. When North Dakota holds an idiot's  convention that is considered a good turnout. Kadizzle could sense the right wing nature of the North Dakota newspapers when they tried to puff up the numbers.
