In the Dump

As part of the summer routine Kadizzle had to empty the grass wagon at the city disposal area.  As Kadizzle drove in he noticed another man unloading his grass clippings.  After awhile the guy walked over and asked if I was who I am.  Yes, I guess it is me I confessed.  Kadizzle was sort of expecting some confrontation for all the radical ideas Kadizzle spouts.  The nice man had an accent that was not local.  The fellow said he was a reader of the constant letters Kadizzle writes to the Bismarck Tribune. Rather than give the chew he said keep up the good work.  We had a nice conversation and he seemed like what he was, a nice gentleman from Wyoming.  He had moved here to work at the gas plant. It was very pleasing to meet a rational person in our swamp of Republicans.  Kadizzle inquired how the man got here and where he was from.  It turned out he came from a part of Wyoming west of the Black Hills. He had grown up on a ranch there.  Now that is some lonely country.  Kadizzle has driven through that isolated landscape many times.  One thing that always puzzled Kadizzle driving through there was how do you find a girl friend.  My new made friend at the dump explained that took place at high school.  Well Jasper Littlebottom just came storming into the room insisting Kadizzle start the grill so that is all for now. The custom lamb chops were a little under cooked, but good. Back to the dump.  It is refreshing to meet good people. They do exist. It is also a good feeling to be appreciated.
