The Old Neighbor

Our old neighbor Bob is thinking about embarking on some RV living. As we visit with so many friends we have met over the years traveling Kadizzle thinks of Bob.  Bob asked how do you meet people while traveling. It happens in so many different ways it is almost impossible to go through them all. Ed was one of the first traveling people we met on the road and became good friends with.  Hope Ed is reading this and hope you are well Ed.  Winky went over to inspect Ed's Casita camper.  The next thing you know we are hiking, biking, and traveling together.  Currently we are with good friends Deb and Al.  We met them looking for a camping spot near Sedona.  They had a nice spot and it looked like they were leaving so we were going to see when they were taking off.  We were wrong, they just got there.  In no time we were good friends biking and hiking.  Barb and Jeff we met when Kadizzle asked them to take Winky for a walk so he could get some peace and quiet.  So it goes.  Of course there are four other people here who are our friends who we met through Deb and Al.

The good part is the people we meet are so interesting.  Traveling people are not boring. Paul and Mary just pulled in yesterday in their fifth wheel. They met Deb and Al sailing the south Pacific.  We met Darch back on the Salt River and went sailing with Darch on Vancover Island.  We met another Airstream friend and met him to float down the Missouri.  In this lifestyle you go apart and come together again. Trying to think of all the people and remember names is hard, but Kadizzle can remember what is unique about each couple and the single people.  When you are stationary like the time we were in Hazen life and people get a little boring, but on the road it is always changing.  You end up being with people for a short time and then change to a new group of friends, like you change underwear.  It is fun seeing people change and evolve.  We mentioned Fabuloso yesterday. We had fun with him and his wife.  He had a great sense of humor and she was a great breakfast cook.  Now they bought a luxury boat and are floating toward paradise. Sit still if you want, and read.  Kadizzle would rather have his own life than read about someone eles's life.
