Carried Away

Wandering out to the garage at the encampment Kadizzle found Al contemplating how to build a crane on the trailer he built.  Together we brainstormed for about an hour.  The purpose of the crane was to lower the large pieces of steel into post holes for the new fence. At some point we came to our senses and figured we could just lower the steel by hand.  We came up with a simple way to do it and it worked fine. It was a classic case of over engineering.

Today we may pour some concrete and then head back to Lake Roosevelt. Kadizzle is anxious to try the little sailboat provided there is some wind.

When Deb and Al get there new place finished it will be a deluxe place to visit.  There will be room for Three RVs with hookups.  The house will probably have two bedrooms and bathrooms for visitors.  Winter living in the south may be pretty good in a year or two.  If the Kadizzles get their new home built they will be about to host traveling friends.  People will be able to move about with bases all over the place.
