Morning in America

Up early as usual.  The morning is cool and the sky is hiding the sun. Kadizzle jumped on the ebike and toured the trails he has been clearing at Windy Hill.  So nice to glide though the desert underbrush effortlessly.  Hoping to see some wildlife the wish was fulfilled.  Of course there were quail, but the coyote was a nice surprise when he ran out in front of the old man.  Last night maybe it was the same guy right withing one hundred feet of our camper howling.  Record high temp was yesterday, and today will be warm.  In Globe yesterday we replenished out stockpile of food.  The tattooed deplorable were out in force.  Don't mean to use deplorable in a bad fashion, but it is even a moniker they have adopted.  Kadizzle will never get over tattoo people busted flat and spending thousands on ink.  Winky overheard a couple deplorables  talking about the ink art.  One said he figured it cost 100 dollars an hour. Imagine spending one hundred dollars and hour for ink when you are making minimum wage and cannot afford gas for your car.  What is wrong with this picture?

So we are pretty snug here in our Earth Module.  After fighting the leak in the shower for days it looks like we finally got it secure.  Still sad to sit here about one hundred yards from Dave's trailer.  Dave's death has hit us hard.  Dave was such a key member of our trail crew.  The Forest Service is really going to miss him.  Dave was a very good mechanic and he kept a lot of stuff running.  It cost the Forest Service nothing for Dave's volunteer work.  If all the right wing selfish people would just take a moment and think about what good people like Dave do for free.  Kadizzle has a lot of admiration for people who volunteer.  Our old friend Ray always comes to mind. Ray did so much for the community he lived in, and few people know it. Old Colonel Klink is another one.  Klink is still alive, and a nut case if ever one existed, but he always chipped in to get projects done.  Even the old Wease deserves a lot of credit.  His wife whipped him into action, but Kadizzle must give him credit.  Kadizzle butted heads many times with The Wease.  The people at the plant called him the Weasel.  His wife was a real hero.  She made things happen in Hazen.

Winky got a hell of a good deal on mushrooms yesterday.  A great big box of wonderful ones for $1.15.  She is over there by the stove making us a good breakfast right now.  The clouds will lift, the heavens will part, and the sun will shine when they announce we are rid of Trump.
