Two wheel fever

There is something magic about leaning and turning.  Maybe that is why Kadizzle lately has been obsessed with the idea of buying an adventure motorcycle or an electric bike, or both.  Of course the old fashioned idea of pedaling a bike has a lot of merit for getting the chicken meat off.  Confusing the matter are the number of available electric bikes, and motorcycles.  It has been a lot of exploring the motorcycles on youtube.  Some guy with a European accent has a lot of good videos on his trips with adventure bikes.  His advice is good and has centered Kadizzle on the idea of a not to small not to big size.  On the electric bike side of the world there are two main propulsion systems.  One has the motor by the crank and the other has the motor in the hub of the rear wheel.

Motorcycles and bikes come in all flavors, and of course prices.  Should Kadizzle go whole hog and spend the money to get a better product, or be happy with a little less?  Yamaha has stepped into the electric bike game in the U.S.  and they make a good product.  Tempting, but $2,500 is some real cheese for a bike.  Then over to the motorcycle side.  BMW makes a nice 750cc, but again there is some cheese involved.  The money from selling the sailboat is burning in Kadizzle's pocket.

To confuse matters there may be a whole different approach.  Go to New Zealand and rent a motor cycle.  Before you know it the cheese will be gone and the problem solved.  So those are the realities.
