First Sail of 2015

Today is more or less a rest day. Our friends invited us down to the lake to go in their Hobbie Trimeran, and their SeaEagle inflatable. Out to a bay we went for lunch.  The Hobbie is very unique.  You peddle the Hobbie.  Cissie and Barb were stuck with the traditional paddle boat. It is amazing how much more efficient peddling the Hobbie is. Whomever invented the system is a genius.  Under the boat are fins that work as a fish would.  It was amazing how much faster the Hobbie went than the traditional paddle boat would go.  It seemed like we could do 4 knots easy, and five or six was not that hard.
