Strippers in Williston, Strippers in Hazen

Years ago when the boom was going full bore in Hazen the Bar at the Crossroads had strippers. An old friend asked Kadizzle and a bunch of other men to help tear down an old building. After the work was done all the men went to the Crossroads for a drink. It was late in the afternoon on a Saturday. The place had a big crowd watching the stripper. This stripper did a routine where she put baby powder in her G string. When she snapped the G string it appeared smoke came out. Most of the crowd was half drunk and rowdy. The wife of the bar owner had a buggy whip she used to keep drunks away from the stage. The highlight of the show was a drunk native American who called himself "Quofum Puffum". Quofum Puffum would get up pull down his pants and moon everyone in the crowd while doing a war dance. Everyone would cheer and the night went on.

This morning CNN featured a story about the strippers in Williston making 2k per night. It must be just like the old days at the Crossroads. If you drive by the Crossroads where 200A turns north from 200 you might see a small barn like building beside the house that used to be the bar. The Rumor was that the strippers did some work on the side to pick up extra cash in that little barn like building. Nothing like an oil boom to stir the economy.
