Traveling where trappers and miners explored the Yukon and Alaska Kadizzle has to ask, "How did they do it?". How could a person have enough supplies to travel into the wild? The task these people undertook seems surmountable. Until you see how vast and rugged the terrain is you cannot imagine what they accomplished. Winters must have been an endurance contest that few could win.
