The sun came up

It happened once more. The sun came up.  That means two cups of coffee.  That means another day, and another day of problems and solutions.  Another day of money coming in and money going out.  Another day of people angry and people happy. Another day when a shooter shoots some innocent people.  Another day of congressmen doing nothing.  Another day of he said she said.  Another day of dirty dishes.  It is just one more day.

One day the sun will not rise. The air will not go in and out of the lungs. The heart will not pump blood. So our days are numbered.  Everyone wakes up each morning to see if they are still alive.  How many days get wasted? Can you waste a day? Time takes it's toll. The knees start to go. The vision needs help. The hearing is going.  Like an old tree we grow but cannot get water to the leaves way out on the end of the branches.  The little trees from our seeds grow all around.

So here we sit on a planet spinning around the sun.  How many trips around the fireball do we get to make?  There is something symbolic about circles.  You seem like your are going somewhere, but you always get back to the same place. One of the greatest discoveries ever was that you could go East and end up in the West.  So the globe will spin today and the planet will circle.

Just as Kadizzle ended this nonsense John Prine started singing Fish and Whistle.  It speaks to our dilemma. So click on the video and listen.
