At the last Donuts with Democrats meeting two young Democrats spoke about energizing young people in the schools. Republicans have been very clever about spreading right wing propaganda in the school system, worse yet the Republicans have very successfully destroyed public schools. The voucher system in Arizona has bankrupted the public school system. Why not face the truth, the religious and charter schools are just right wing propaganda machines leading to a mental decline in our country. Fight back, attend school board meetings, resist the takeover of education by the dictatorship.
