 Taking Out the Trash in Payson

Yesterday, the trio often likened to the Three Stooges used their megaphone—KMOG—to launch yet another tirade against the rational members of the town council. Kenny Murphy, KMOG’s self-styled minister of propaganda, went so far as to label Mike Quinn and Jeff Robins as “the garbage men of Payson.” Frankly, that’s a title we wear as a badge of honor. We are taking out the trash. If I can get my hands on a Waste Management shirt, I’ll proudly wear it to the next town council meeting. That’s exactly what Jeff and I are doing—cleaning up the mess.

Meanwhile, Potato Bag and the rest of the Stooges are sowing nothing but chaos. Their antics are achieving little more than division and dysfunction.

Ironically, the Stooges seem to be turning on their own. Suzy Tubbs, once a staunch ally of their cause, has now been attacked by them. By alienating her, they’ve lost a key piece of support in their misguided crusade to tear the town apart.

Their playbook is all too familiar. Like Trump and his imitators, they thrive on discord, and KMOG serves as their personal echo chamber—a local version of Fox News. But the community deserves better than this circus. Let’s continue the hard work of bringing order and progress back to Payson.
