Bob Dylan has a song " Every grain of sand". It is one of Kadizzles favorites. Yesterday Kadizzle hiked up a neat little canyon with Bob and Liz, who are visiting. As usual we drove up a dry creek bed for miles, and then there was water. The water disappeared right in front of you, but it was flowing freely in the canyon. What was amazing in the canyon was the flowing water moving the sand. How did the Earth get carved? It was flowing water and millions and billions of years, but right under our feet you could see the massive amounts of material being moved. May two or three percent of the moving water was made up of sand. After a flash flood here you tons of sand moved by water. There was a lot of material in the Grand Canyon, but the water moved it. What water can do is truly amazing. When we look at other planets we can see what water did to them.
