There is no future

When Kadizzle was a child there was a future, but it seems to have evaporated.  In the old days Saturday, Sunday, and summer where in the future.  You got ready for the future and you looked forward to it.  Not any more,  in the old days you planned for the future, you saved for the future, and you worked for the future.   This is gone.  Look around you, young people don't plan for the future. The simplest plan for the future is to save some money.  In days gone by you saved for an education, a house, and retirement, not anymore.  If you have some money you buy some shiny wheels for your car, you get a tattoo,  you burn that money out of your pocket as quick as you can.  In the old days people thought about retirement, health care, and how they would make it in old age. Those days are gone. 

So when people don't see a future what do they do?  In the old days you tried to figure out the future.  You did this by reading, by thinking, and by paying attention.  Not any more.  Now you watch football, play video games,  and stare at your computer.  Meanwhile you get robbed blind.  People no longer have an attention span or any sense of history.  All we want is a diversion.  Who uses diversions? Magicians, slick salesmen, and of course Donald Trump. 

As the song goes " When you got nothing, you got nothing to lose".   Most revolutions, wars, you name it come from people with a sense of nothing left to lose.  Maybe that is how Trump got elected, the dolts figured they had nothing left to lose.
