The Death Spiral and a Small World

Kadizzle awakened and asked Alexa what the time was.  Shocked when Alexa answered it was 8:54 A.M.  Kadizzle rolled out of bed.  Sometimes the gravity rolls while you are asleep like a fog. Once you come out of a death spiral sleep you feel like awakening from the dead.  Jasper asked why Kadizzle had to get up from bed and immediately sit down.  It seems like the liquid lead in the body all goes to the head or one side.  It takes awhile for the body to rearrange itself to a functioning state. Coffee has a magic solvent that can dissolve gravity.  So here we sit gradually coming to life.

Today's main topic is about people who live in a small world.  Years ago old Kadizzle used to spend hours riding around a surface coal mine with the operations superintendent.  He was a nice guy and a good friend.  He was instrumental in getting rid of a scoundrel that used to have his job. One day he said about another man "He lives in a small world".  Kadizzle always loved that description.  Yesterday Kadizzle spoke with another old friend.  Kadizzle asked him if he grew up with any black people in his town.  He replied no.  Then he went on to say he was amazed when he met his first Catholic.  He grew up in a small town in Nebraska.  He lived in a small world.  As he grew older he traveled to Europe, and moved about the country quite a bit, but his mind was and is always in a small world. 

Small minds locked in small worlds like simple solutions.  In small world most solutions are small. So much seems black and white in small worlds. Build a wall.  What simple solution for simple people.

Now this makes Kadizzle recall his solution for Trumps wall.  Build the wall, but put drive up windows in the wall.  Want Mexican food?  Drive up to one of the windows in Trump's wall and order your favorite Mexican dish.  Hasn't that always been the American solution, just separate people. Let the rich live in gated communities, let the poor live on the other side of the tracks, let the minorities live in ghettos.  Now there has always been a problem. We always want the poor and oppressed to come into our gated community, and do what we are too good and lazy to do.  Come on over and cut the grass, watch the kids, and put a new roof on the house, then go back to you place.  You lazy no got rapist.  The worst Bible verse ever penned was " The poor will always be with us".  Every good Christian cites that verse when you ask them to share.  God wanted poor people. The Bible tells us so. That is your Bible lesson for today.  Try as you may you cannot eliminate poverty, because God want a little.
