The Hazen pool was closed so Sylvie and Grandpa had to go to the Beulah water park. Of course we had to do the water slide. The slide is a huge snaking totally enclosed tube full of water. Once in the tube there is no light, so you are being swirled around in total darkness, a strange sensation.
Jasper made a wonderful Juneberry pie last night. Nothing in the world comes close to a good June berry pie. Hopefully legislation will be passed that requires ice cream on all pies.
Did a couple trips on the electric bike. Kadizzle is sold on the concept. If electric bikes become wide spread it will be a great achievement. There are many benefits, no pollution, exercise, and tremendous energy savings. Older people need to get out and move, and these bikes are the perfect solution. Kadizzle rode out to Stroupini's house twice. One trip was along the railroad tracks and the bike does very well in rough terrain with the big fat tires it has. In all the biking the battery does not seem to lose much charge. Kadizzle wants to try a trip to the lake on the bike to test the battery.
