With the government shut down Kadizzle sits here looking out the window. Will the sun come up? There seems to be a sliver of light. Remember the old saying about the rooster crowing? The Rooster thought his crowing was what brought the sun up. That chicken ended up on the table fried. If only the chickens in Washington could be fried.
The heat puff is going full bore. The thermometer in the bedroom read 41 when we awakened. Now in the main salon it is cozy and warm as we drink our first cup of coffee. Mrs. Kadizzle is chomping at the bit with an unexplained desire to wash the sheets.
It looks like a trip to Globe is in order for groceries today. Kadizzle will get to try out his new credit card and see if he actually gets thirty five cents per gallon discount on gas. Later to day an old North Dakota sailing friend will show up and join us for some exploring and hiking.
The clock reads 7:08 and they seem to be having problems getting the sun up. It is getting red in the East.
