Each of us has driven by an old building along the interstate. The roof is sagging and the wood is coming apart. That is crumbling. People crumble. Do you have a plan to crumble? Moving close to the kids is one way to crumble. Downsizing is another. Facing the reality of crumbling is part of life. Someday you have to use glasses to read, the volume on everything has to be turned up. Yup, you are crumbling. Holding on to things, and going down stairs slowly, yup crumbling. The brain crumbles to. Forgetting, can't remember names, walking in a room and forgetting why. The reality you just can't do it anymore. Worse yet, you don't want to do it. So do what you can today, and enjoy what you can today. Tomorrow you may not be able to.
